S240FA Medium 2-Axis Gimbal Cameras — 4-sensor (EO + TI + LRF + laser illumination) for military ISR missions

The S240FA is a professional 2-axis 4-sensor (EO + TI + LRF + laser illumination) designed for military ISR missions. Equipped with a high-sensitivity thermal detector, it sees through fog, dust, smoke, and complete darkness — when the human eye fails. Variable optical zoom enables seamless transition from wide-area scanning to target identification at extended ranges. An integrated laser rangefinder provides instant target distance measurement for fire-control and targeting integration. At 9kg, this is a robust platform built for ground vehicles, ships, and fixed installations requiring maximum stability. 2-axis gyro stabilization maintains tracking precision with minimal drift, even in high-crosswind environments.

Why Operators Choose S240FA

① Heavy-duty stabilization wins the long game. In contested airspace, stability is survival. The S240FA delivers rock-solid imagery that lighter gimbals cannot match — the difference between identifying a target and missing it.
② Stabilization beats sensor count. A 4K camera in vibration is junk. A 640 thermal on a gyro is gold. The S240FA keeps tracking drift minimal even at high crosswind speeds.
③ Integrated LRF beats external rangefinding. Separate LRF means extra weight and alignment headaches. The S240FA integrates laser rangefinding directly into the gimbal — one payload, one boresight, instant target distance.

Application Scenarios

Military ISR and reconnaissance missions
Border surveillance and coastal defense
Large-area search and rescue (SAR)
Maritime patrol and anti-piracy
Critical infrastructure protection

Plug-and-Play Integration

Compatible with Pixhawk, Cube Orange, Mission Planner, QGroundControl,
and major autopilot platforms. Dual-link RS232/RS422, Ethernet (UDP) interface means
installation takes under 15 minutes — no firmware patching, no proprietary SDK,
no integration headaches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What platforms is S240FA compatible with?

Ground vehicles, naval vessels, fixed installations, and large UAVs with payload capacity ≥10000g. Mounting interfaces can be customized per customer requirement.

Q2: Can I customize the lens or zoom configuration?

Yes. OEM/ODM supported. We offer 9 mm / 13 mm / 19 mm / 25 mm / 45 mm / 60 mm modules. Custom sensor configurations and housing colors are also available for volume orders.

Q3: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

1 unit for sample evaluation. Volume pricing available for 5+ units. Distributor and reseller programs available for qualified partners.

Q4: Do you provide SDK or video stream API?
