TZ098EA Small 3-Axis Gimbal Cameras — 5-sensor (zoom EO + wide EO + TI + LRF + lighting) for commercial drone surveillance

The TZ098EA is a professional 3-axis 5-sensor (zoom EO + wide EO + TI + LRF + lighting) designed for commercial drone surveillance. Equipped with a high-sensitivity thermal detector, it sees through fog, dust, smoke, and complete darkness — when the human eye fails. Variable optical zoom enables seamless transition from wide-area scanning to target identification at extended ranges. An integrated laser rangefinder provides instant target distance measurement for fire-control and targeting integration. At 1.3kg, it delivers heavy-duty stabilization for medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) UAV platforms. 3-axis stabilization eliminates horizon drift during aggressive maneuvers, ensuring rock-steady imagery in turbulent conditions.

Why Operators Choose TZ098EA

① Heavy-duty stabilization wins the long game. In contested airspace, stability is survival. The TZ098EA delivers rock-solid imagery that lighter gimbals cannot match — the difference between identifying a target and missing it.
② 3-axis freedom beats sensor count. A 4K camera in vibration is junk. A thermal sensor on a 3-axis gyro is gold. The TZ098EA eliminates horizon drift in aggressive turns — no more tilted footage mid-mission.
③ Integrated LRF beats external rangefinding. Separate LRF means extra weight and alignment headaches. The TZ098EA integrates laser rangefinding directly into the gimbal — one payload, one boresight, instant target distance.

Application Scenarios

Commercial drone surveillance and mapping
Law enforcement and public safety operations
Border patrol and coastal monitoring
Infrastructure inspection (bridges, pipelines, railways)
Wildlife and anti-poaching operations

Plug-and-Play Integration

Compatible with Pixhawk, Cube Orange, Mission Planner, QGroundControl,
and major autopilot platforms. Dual-link RS232/RS422, Ethernet (UDP) interface means
installation takes under 15 minutes — no firmware patching, no proprietary SDK,
no integration headaches.
