TZ230TB 3-axis 3-sensor gimbal camera for UAV and aircraft with EO camera, thermal infrared imaging, laser rangefinder and AI target tracking. — TZ230TB advanced 3-axis 3-sensor gimbal camera integrates visible light imaging, thermal infrared detection, laser rangefinding and AI tracking technology for drones, UAVs and airborne surveillance platforms.

TZ230TB Medium 3-Axis Gimbal Cameras — 3-Sensor EO/IR/LRF for military ISR missions

The TZ230TB is a professional 3-axis 3-Sensor EO/IR/LRF designed for military ISR missions. Equipped with a high-sensitivity thermal detector, it sees through fog, dust, smoke, and complete darkness — when the human eye fails. Variable optical zoom enables seamless transition from wide-area scanning to target identification at extended ranges. An integrated laser rangefinder provides instant target distance measurement for fire-control and targeting integration. At 10.5kg, this is a robust platform built for ground vehicles, ships, and fixed installations requiring maximum stability. 3-axis stabilization eliminates horizon drift during aggressive maneuvers, ensuring rock-steady imagery in turbulent conditions.

Why Operators Choose TZ230TB

① Heavy-duty stabilization wins the long game. In contested airspace, stability is survival. The TZ230TB delivers rock-solid imagery that lighter gimbals cannot match — the difference between identifying a target and missing it.
② 3-axis freedom beats sensor count. A 4K camera in vibration is junk. A thermal sensor on a 3-axis gyro is gold. The TZ230TB eliminates horizon drift in aggressive turns — no more tilted footage mid-mission.
③ Integrated LRF beats external rangefinding. Separate LRF means extra weight and alignment headaches. The TZ230TB integrates laser rangefinding directly into the gimbal — one payload, one boresight, instant target distance.

Application Scenarios

Military ISR and reconnaissance missions
Border surveillance and coastal defense
Large-area search and rescue (SAR)
Maritime patrol and anti-piracy
Critical infrastructure protection

Plug-and-Play Integration

Compatible with Pixhawk, Cube Orange, Mission Planner, QGroundControl,
and major autopilot platforms. Dual-link Ethernet (UDP), HD-SDI interface means
installation takes under 15 minutes — no firmware patching, no proprietary SDK,
no integration headaches.

“A drone can fly high, but without intelligent eyes, it cannot see the mission clearly.”

Modern UAV operations require more than flight capability — they need accurate perception, intelligent tracking and real-time decision support. The TZ230TB 3-axis 3-sensor gimbal camera provides advanced airborne vision by combining electro-optical imaging, thermal infrared detection and laser rangefinding into one stabilized payload system designed for professional drones and aircraft platforms.

The TZ230TB is a high-performance EO/IR gimbal camera payload developed for fixed-wing UAVs, multi-rotor drones, helicopters and airborne surveillance platforms. Its multi-sensor architecture enables operators to perform long-range observation, day/night detection, target tracking and precise positioning in complex environments.

Advanced Multi-Sensor Imaging System

The TZ230TB integrates:

2MP EO visible light camera
30× optical zoom
60× hybrid zoom capability
640×512 thermal infrared camera
20–6000m laser rangefinder

The high-resolution electro-optical sensor provides detailed visual information, while the thermal infrared channel enables reliable detection during nighttime operations, low visibility conditions and challenging weather environments.

Intelligent AI Tracking for UAV Missions

Equipped with intelligent processing capabilities, the TZ230TB supports:

AI target recognition
Automatic target tracking
Target positioning
MAVLink communication integration
Real-time aerial surveillance

The 3-axis stabilization system compensates for aircraft vibration and movement, providing stable images during high-speed UAV flight, aerial inspection and airborne reconnaissance missions.

Designed for Professional Drone and Aircraft Platforms

With a compact airborne design and 10.5kg weight, the TZ230TB is suitable for:

Fixed-wing UAV payload integration
Long-endurance drones
Industrial inspection aircraft
Security and surveillance UAVs
Maritime patrol drones
Airborne intelligence platforms

Technical highlights include:

Size: 254mm × 294mm × 348.7mm
Power supply: 20–32V
Communication interfaces: RS422, Ethernet (UDP)
Video output: HD-SDI / Ethernet
Local storage: ≤128GB Micro SD card

Smarter Vision for the Next Generation of UAVs

From border monitoring and infrastructure inspection to aerial security and industrial applications, the TZ230TB helps transform drones from simple flying platforms into intelligent airborne systems with advanced perception capability.
